SINCE THE START 1943
One day in Borås, 1943, Gustav Segerqvist decided to stop working as a carpenter. He bought a bicycle and a suitcase and set out to the villages around Borås on his bicycle to sell clothes. After a few years, Gustav had cycled to most of the villages in the parish and it had gone so well that the suitcase was upgraded to an office and our first own seamstresses were hired. Segers Fabriker was born.
A COMPANY IN THREE GENERATIONS
Gustav started Segers in 1943 as mentioned and ran the company until 1976 when his daughter Mona took over the helm. Since 1985, Mona's son Roger has owned and run the company.
In hindsight, we all have much to thank Gustav for when he put the hammer on the shelf and laid the foundation for the fine & strong brand Segers is today.
