A new jacket in our range. It may look like one of many. But there is a significant difference that makes this one stand out. The chef's jacket, sewn in a stiff fabric, gains natural stretch thanks to an innovative method. Of course, the jacket comes with pants that are just as easy to move in. Mia Kinn, marketing manager, talks about the collaboration.
Why are you collaborating with Atacac?
"Of course, it is exciting to be part of a project where clothes are created in an innovative way no one has seen anything like this before."
Why is it important to have a stretch effect?
Sustainable clothes with stretch are something our customers demand. With that come certain challenges with stretch fabrics. One, stretch material often comes at a high price. And two, they lose their elasticity. These are two reasons why we want to continue working with the fabric we already use. Instead, we change the method we use to construct patterns.
How would you like to describe the project?
It has been a fantastic and fun project that has contributed positive energy. Of course, it is exciting to be part of a project where clothes are created in an innovative way – no one has seen anything like this before. The goal of the project was to develop a chef's jacket with stretch properties without having to change the fabric. We have succeeded – we can only be satisfied.
